About us

Nodewood represents a new chapter in premium hardwood craftsmanship, built upon a thirty-year foundation of master-level woodworking, custom furniture creation, and historical restoration.Operating out of a lean, highly focused workshop, our team of five craftsmen brings together decades of accumulated oak-working experience alongside fresh, modern energy. This unique blend of time-honored traditional techniques and a shared hunger for perfection allows us to tackle everything from delicate heritage restorations to bold, contemporary furniture designs. In botany, a node is the exact point on a tree trunk where a new branch breaks through and grows. It is the densest, strongest part of the timber. Where others see an imperfection in a wood knot, we see structural integrity, character, and resilience. That is the philosophy behind our name. Out of a deep, solid foundation, we are branching out to create something enduring. We don’t just build and restore furniture to last a lifetime—we build it to tell a story.
